In the first nine months of fiscal year 2026 (October 2025 to June 2026) the Canal’s transit revenue rose 17% to $4.8 billion. The figures were presented by Canal Administrator Ricaurte Vásquez.

The number of transits rose 5.2% and tonnage 7.2%. The Canal’s profit came to $3.6 billion, 19% more.
